Luca Bevilacqua is a young winemaker (and professional sommelier since 20 years) based in Atessa Val di Sangro, Abruzzo. 2019 is his 3th vintage and it’s already boom!

From a half hectare single vineyard south facing looking at the Adriatic Sea with the Apennine mountains on the west side. Predominantly Trebbiano with Sbagarina, a local variety that disappeared in the 1990s with industrialisation and the coops development. Free-run juice from the direct pressing of the grapes, fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by ageing in the same vessels for about six months before bottling. A 10% alchool wine with immense purity of fruit.
